As an artist, I understand the importance of data. The value of data is exponential given the advances in computing and machine learning that have been made over the last decade. Data represents a break from corporeal reality - to see through another's eyes or to see a world that does not yet exist. The line between real and unreal becomes blurry when I annotate with code and manipulate digital information with synthesized images, sounds, and text to describe new realities. This is one way I use invisible knowledge to create art.
